What virtual tutoring will look like for your child

PROFESSIONAL APPROACH

CFU Tutors takes a professional approach to tutoring to ensure your child feels like a student in our classroom. Asking intentional questions during each session, CFU Tutors will help your child uncover their misunderstandings, without relying on us to “give” the correct answer.

VIRTUAL TUTORING PLATFORMS

CFU Tutors uses Zoom and Google Hangouts for virtual tutoring and access to the session is shared in advance. In addition, your child will receive their own virtual workspace via Google folder or Google classroom. This workspace includes data from your child's diagnostic, work completed in each session, and monthly updates.

TAILORED INSTRUCTION

CFU Tutors designs tutoring materials that are tailored to your child's knowledge, learning style, and needs. Sessions are planned using data from your child's diagnostic and progress. At the end of each session, your child will be given additional practice to complete individually to the reinforce concepts and skills they have learned.

TUTORING 7 DAYS A WEEK

CFU Tutors understands that your child is balancing multiple responsibilities while also adjusting to remote learning. As a result, we tutor seven days a week and can accommodate various hours during the workday and weekends.
